Welcome! I have had the joy of wheatens in my life since 2000 and have been breeding and showing since my first litter in 2003.

I belong to the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America (SCWTCA). I have served on the Board and learned a whole lot!! Currently I am a member of the Health Education Committee and I am the editor of the quarterly magazine called Benchmarks. You can read Benchmarks on line at www.scwtca.org under the tab for “The Club”. While on the site, be sure to check out the wheaten goodies they have in “The Shop”.

I started out with my local all breed club North Shore Kennel Club in MA. I held several roles and worked hard for the club and in return I learned a lot and met some life long friends. Then I went to Florida during COVID, and decided to become a resident, and my participation wasn’t really happening like it was before. I also belong to the Del Val SCWT Club. I found the distances kept me from being as active as I wanted.

For a long time I wanted a SCWT Club in the North East and I was not alone. So in 2025 with several great friends, we organized a new club- the Erie Canal SCWT Club. We have our first specialty on July 4, 2026 in W Springfield MA. We have a strong commitment to welcoming everyone who loves wheatens! The Club also holds family events with their dogs and do other cool activities.

Through Club participation and with the benefit of wheaten friends, I have learned to be a better show exhibitor, groomer, dog owner, and breeder.

My dogs are health tested. Their breedings are carefully planned and all the puppies are AKC registered.
